Shipping & Returns

At The Wild Bison, many of our products are handmade, assembled, or created from reclaimed and repurposed materials. Because of the nature of what we make, every order matters, and we want you to know what to expect before placing your order.

Shipping

Orders from The Wild Bison may ship from one of our two distribution locations:
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania & Denver, Colorado

The shipping location for each product will be clearly identified on the individual product listing. Products may ship from either location depending on inventory, availability, and where the product is being fulfilled. Because our products can vary considerably in size, weight, and packaging requirements, shipping costs and delivery times may also vary from product to product. Please review the shipping information provided on the individual product page before placing your order. There are some cases where something will ship from a different location then listed in the items description, or a product may be shipped from a third party stippler or creator.

Before You Order

We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, measurements, photographs, and shipping information so you can make an informed purchase. Because many of our products are made from metal and reclaimed materials, there may be variations in appearance, texture, color, finish, markings, or other characteristics. These variations are part of the nature of the material and, in many cases, are part of what makes each piece unique. Please take a moment to make sure the product, size, quantity, and other options you select are what you want before completing your purchase.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes a purchase may not work out as expected. If you are unhappy with your purchase and would like to discuss a return, refund, or exchange, please contact us before sending anything back. Returns, refunds, and exchanges are not automatically guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will consider the circumstances of each request and do our best to find a reasonable solution when appropriate. Depending on the situation, that may include a return, refund, exchange, replacement, or another solution. However, contacting us does not automatically mean that a return, refund, or exchange will be approved. Because of the unique nature of our products, some items may not be practical or eligible for return once they have been shipped, used, modified, assembled, or otherwise altered. Do not send an item back without contacting us and receiving approval first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, appears to have been damaged during shipping, or you receive an item that is different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. Please include photographs of the packaging and the product info, tracking number, photo of your shipping label and your order number when contacting us about shipping damage. This helps us understand what happened and determine the appropriate next step. If we made an error with your order, we will work with you to correct it.

We Want to Work With You

Our goal isn't to make the return process difficult. At the same time, The Wild Bison is a small business working with unique materials, handmade products, and products that may require additional time, labor, and shipping costs to return. That means we may not be able to handle returns in the same way a large retailer does. If something about your order isn't right, please talk to us before assuming there is nothing we can do. We are always willing to look at the situation and work toward a reasonable solution when we can. Every situation is different, and every return request will be evaluated individually.
